Long's four points lead Kelowna to 6-2 rout of Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - Colin Long had four points, three of them assists, to lead the Kelowna Rockets to a convincing 6-2 road victory over the Prince George Cougars in the Western Hockey League on Saturday night.

Mitchell Callahan had two goals an assist for the Rockets, who led 3-1 after one period and 5-0 after the second.

Jamie Benn, Long, Stepan Novotny and Lukas Matejka had the other Kelowna goals, and rookie netminder Adam Brown stopped 25 shots for his ninth win of the season for the Rockets (16-10-0-0).

Import winger Marek Viedensky had both goals for the Cougars (10-16-0-1). Goaltender Joe Caligiuri stopped 34 shots.
