London Knights forward Nazem Kadri wins CHL player of the week award @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - London Knights forward Nazem Kadri was named Canadian Hockey League player of the week Tuesday.

Kadri recorded nine points (two goals, seven assists) in three games last week.

He also had a plus-3 rating to help the Knights eliminate the Guelph Storm in a five-game Ontario Hockey League conference quarter-final.

Kadri was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs with the seventh overall pick of the 2009 NHL entry draft.

Chris Carrozzi of the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors was named CHL goaltender of the week. He won three games last week and had one shutout. Carrozzi recorded a 1.33 goals-against average and a save percentage of .949.
