For the Anaheim Ducks, the "Movember" mustache styles are not a matter of if, but when.
Forward Logan Shaw admits he got a jump start, but boy is he way out in the lead.
Shaw has grown an incredible horseshoe crumb-catcher that has become the envy of the Ducks locker room. It's all part of the Movember tradition to help raise awareness for men's health.
"I started a little bit early in October," Shaw said in a video posted to the Ducks Twitter feed. "It's for a good cause, trying to help raise awareness."
Shaw and his Ducks teammates have started a Movember page to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer and suicide prevention. Although every player on the Ducks is raising money for Movember, Shaw has some opinions on who could give him a run for his money.
"I think [goalie Ryan Miller] can get the twist [for a handlebar moustache] going, it looks like," Shaw said. "[Defenseman Korbinian] Holzer is a little bit of a wild card sometimes, so he may have something up his sleeve."
