Logan Couture outshines John Tavares as 67's beat Knights 4-3
NHL.com @NHLdotcomOTTAWA - Logan Couture had two goals and two assists to lead the Ottawa 67's past the London Knights 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Sunday afternoon.
Anthony Nigro also had two goals for the 67's (29-16-5) while Adam Courchaine made 24 saves for the win.
John Tavares, Zac Rinaldo and Phil Varone replied for the Knights (37-12-2), who lost two of three weekend games. Ravor Cann made 29 saves for London.
"A lot of guys on the ice were good but I don't think anyone was better than Logan Couture," said 67's coach and general manager Brian Kilrea. "He knew he was up against John Tavares and he had something to prove."
