Lockhart scores three times as Thunderbirds beat Silvertips 4-3 in shootout @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Luke Lockhart scored twice in regulation, then the winner in the shootout, as the Seattle Thunderbirds defeated the Everett Silvertips 4-3 on Wednesday night in Western Hockey League action.

Cason Machacek also scored for Seattle (15-17-1).

Ryan Harrison had two goals and an assist for Everett (6-21-8) while Teal Burns scored the other.

Calvin Pickard made 32 saves for the win as Kent Simpson stopped 28 shots in defeat.

Both teams went 0-for-2 on the power play.

It was the second straight night Seattle beat Everett by way of a shootout.
