Lindstrom nets go-ahead goal as Crunch edge Bulldogs 2-1 @NHL

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Joakim Lindstrom scored the go-ahead marker at 3:28 in the third period, lifting the Syracuse Crunch to a 2-1 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs Friday night in AHL action.

With Bulldogs defenceman Pavel Valentenko off for tripping, Lindstrom scored three seconds into the power play with assists coming from Derick Brassard and Andrei Plekhanov.

Darcy Campbell clocked the other tally for the Crunch in the second period for his first of the season, putting Syracuse up 1-0.

Winger Janne Lahti tied it 11 seconds later for Hamilton (2-2-0-1).

Tomas Popperle walks away with the win after stopping 23 of 24 shots for the Crunch (3-3-0-0), while Yann Danis made 18 saves for the Bulldogs.
