Lindsay's goal early in third period lifts Ottawa past Oshawa 4-3 @NHL

OSHAWA, Ont. - Cody Lindsay broke a tie 2:02 into the third period, and the Ottawa 67's held on to beat the Oshawa Generals 4-3 in OHL action Friday afternoon.

Thomas Nesbitt, Steven Janes and Dalton Smith had the other goals for the 67's (19-15-5), who have won three straight.

Jeff Brown, Alex Dzielski and Christian Thomas replied for the Generals (16-18-4), losers of three in a row.

Chris Perguini's 37-save effort preserved the win for Ottawa, while Kevin Bailia stopped 32 shots in defeat for Oshawa.
