Lindsay Neilsen scores twice as Thunderbirds down Cougars 5-2 @NHLdotcom

KENT, Wash. - Lindsay Nielsen scored a pair of goals to lead the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 5-2 win over the Prince George Cougars in Western Hockey League action Sunday.

Jim O'Brien, Jeremy Boyer and Erik Fleming also socred for Seattle (18-21-1-3), which had a 4-0 lead by the 1:02 mark of the second period. Seattle outshot Prince George 21-4 in the first.

Justin Maylan and Cody Hobbs replied for Prince George (16-27-0-2).

Jacob De Serres made 18 saves for the Thunderbirds, while Kevin Armstrong stopped 30 shots for the Cougars.
