TV personalities, politicians, pro sports teams applaud Tampa Bay, which moved onto Eastern Conference Final

The Tampa Bay Lightning's 4-0 win against the New York Islanders in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Second Round at Amalie Arena on Sunday cemented their place in the Eastern Conference Final for the second straight year, and some of the team's high-profile fans took to Twitter to celebrate.

Television personality Erin Andrews, who covered the Lightning early in her broadcast career, weighed in after their win in Game 5.

The city of Tampa is all-in with its support of the Lightning's run through the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Tampa mayor Bob Buckhorn already has pitched a wager to Pittsburgh mayor Bill Peduto, if the Penguins join the Lightning in the conference final. They lead the Washington Capitals 3-2 in the Eastern Conference Second Round, with Game 6 of the best-of-7 series Tuesday (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, CBC, TVA Sports).
