Cheers to 25 years.

Big Storm Brewing Co., an independant craft beer company, is releasing "The Lightning Twenty Five," a special edition beer to celebrate the Tampa Bay Lightning's 25th anniversary.

But the significance of 25 goes beyond just the number of years the franchise has existed.

It was also the jersey number worn by captain Dave Andreychuk, who helped lead the franchise to the Stanley Cup during the 2003-04 season.

Speaking of Andreychuk, who will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in November, he stopped by Big Storm to sample the new drink on Friday.

The brew will be available in all Big Storm Taprooms and at AMALIE Arena this season.

Big Storm has also promised to donate a portion of the proceeds to the Hurricane Irma relief effort.
