Lieuwen makes 25 saves, Rochester beats St. John's 3-2 in shootout @NHLdotcom

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Justin Bailey and Cal O'Reilly scored in the shootout and Nathan Lieuwen made 25 saves as the Rochester Americans slipped past the St. John's IceCaps 3-2 on Wednesday in American Hockey League action.

Jerome Leduc and Brady Austin scored in regulation for the Americans (15-14-2).

Charles Hudon and Gabriel Dumont responded for the IceCaps (15-8-8), who got a 28-save outing from Dustin Tokarski.

Rochester went 1 for 5 on the power play while St. John's scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
