Levi Nelson scores hat trick to lead Swift Current to 7-4 win over Kamloops @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Levi Nelson scored a hat trick to lead the Swift Current Broncos to a 7-4 win over the Kamloops Blazers in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.

Nelson now has 22 goals, a career-high for him in the WHL. Overage forward Erik Felde scored twice, giving him 25 on the season, while Matt Tassone and Zack Smith also counted for the Broncos (36-22-1-5), who went 3 for 10 on the power play.

Scott Wasden, with two, Juuso Puustinen and Kenton Dulle had the goals for Kamloops (26-33-2-2).

Broncos goaltender Travis Yonkman turned aside 26 shots to collect his 28th win of the season. Blazers netminder Justin Leclerc yielded seven goals on 42 shots in the loss.
