SUDBURY, Ont. - A pair of goals 53 seconds apart erased a two-goal deficit and provided the Sudbury Wolves the momentum it needed to win its sixth game in a row by a score of 5-4 against the Oshawa Generals on Friday in Ontario Hockey League play.
Josh Leivo scored twice and added an assist for the Wolves (16-10-1) while Brody Silk, Joshua McFadden and Matthew Campagna added singles.
Christian Thomas and Niklas Jensen each scored two goals for the Generals (13-15-4).
Johan Mattsson made 30 saves for the win as Kevin Bailie stopped 39 shots in defeat.
Sudbury went 2-for-5 on the power play, while Oshawa wound up 1-for-4.
