Lehoux and Maxwell each score two powering Bulldogs over Crunch 6-2

SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Yanick Lehoux and Ben Maxwell each scored twice to lift the Hamilton Bulldogs over the Syracuse Crunch 6-2 in AHL action on Saturday.

Lehoux and Maxwell put the Bulldogs up 2-0 in the first period before Ryan Russell made it a three goal cushion at 10:09 in the second.

Michael Blunden replied for Syracuse to cut the deficit to 3-1, but Maxwell netted his second of the night just over two minutes later.

Steve Kelly scored his fifth of the year for the Crunch, making it 4-2 but Lehoux scored - his 15th of the year - with three seconds left in the second, and Mathieu Aubin netted some insurance on the power play in the third to complete the scoring.

Syracuse (19-18-2-2) goaltenders Sebastian Dahm and Ryan Munce combined for 36 saves.

Loic Lacasse stopped 22 shots for Hamilton (26-14-2-0).
