Leffler's overtime winner lifts Regina to 5-4 victory over Brandon @NHL

BRANDON, Man. - Brett Leffler scored 3:53 into overtime to lift the Regina Pats to a 5-4 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Western Hockey League on Saturday night.

Matt Strueby notched two goals and Mitch Czibere and Kyle Mulder also scored for the Pats, who improved to 19-15-1-4 to draw even with the Wheat Kings in the East Division standings.

Matt Lowry, Brodie Melnychuk, Del Cowan and Andrew Clark replied for the Wheat Kings, who have a 20-13-2-1 record.

Linden Rowat made 26 saves in the Regina net, while Brandon netminder James Priestner made 22 stops.
