Tampa Bay captain Vincent Lecavalier
returned to the lineup for Wednesday's home game against Atlanta after missing more than a month with a broken right hand.
Lecavalier resumed practicing on Tuesday, the first time he had worked out with the team since being injured on Nov. 11 against Washington.
He had surgery four days later and had a metal rod inserted into the hand to speed healing. At the time he was expected to miss 4-6 weeks. He was cleared to resume shooting this week.
Lecavalier had 3 goals and 9 points in 14 games before the injury.
