Leafs prospect Greg McKegg traded to London Knights from Erie Otters @NHLdotcom

LONDON, Ont. - The London Knights acquired centre Greg McKegg, defenceman Brett Cook and goaltender Tyson Teichmann on Thursday in a trade with the Erie Otters.

Erie will receive defenceman Troy Donnay, centre Dane Fox, the Sudbury Wolves' second-round pick in the OHL's 2012 draft and London's second-round pick in 2016 in return.

McKegg, who was selected in the third round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs, has 12 goals and 34 points in 35 games this year with the last-place Otters (5-30-2).

He will add an extra scoring option for the first-place Knights (28-8-1) as they gear up for a post-season push.

Cook is a fourth-year defenceman who scored 12 points and had 61 penalty minutes in 26 games with Erie. Teichmann is 1-15-0 with a 5.39 goals-against average and an .870 save percentage in 17 appearances with the Otters.

Fox scored 13 goals and had 32 points in 34 games with the Knights, while Donnay had three assists in 23 appearances.
