TORONTO - Erie Otters right-winger Connor Brown has won the Red Tilson Trophy as the Ontario Hockey League's most outstanding player this season.
The 20-year-old from Toronto led the OHL in scoring in with 45 goals and 83 assists in 68 games.
Brown was the Otters captain and had eight goals and 10 assists in 14 playoff games.
Erie lost the Western Conference final in five games to the Guelph Storm.
The Toronto Maple Leafs drafted Brown in the sixth round two years ago.
The five-foot-11, 170-pound forward joined their American Hockey League team, the Marlies, when his season in Erie concluded.
