Leafs forward Dave Bolland has setback in recovery from ankle injury @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - It appears Dave Bolland has suffered a setback in his recovery from an ankle injury.

The veteran forward practised with the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday but was wearing a maroon jersey, which means he wasn't allowed to participate in full contact.

That has put Bolland's return to Toronto's lineup in question as the Leafs return to action following the Olympic break at the New York Islanders on Thursday.

Bolland stumbled late during Tuesday's practice and grimaced, a sign of obvious discomfort.

Bolland suffered a severed ankle tendon in a game Nov. 2 but had resumed practising with the Maple Leafs.

Afterwards, Bolland told reporters he's still day to day.
