Leafs' Armstrong out with finger surgery @NHLdotcom
Toronto forward Colby Armstrong will miss 4-6 weeks after suffering a finger injury early in Tuesday's 3-1 victory against the Florida Panthers. The Leafs said Armstrong will require surgery.

Toronto recalled Luca Caputi from the AHL Toronto Marlies to take Armstrong's place.

Armstrong, who signed with the Leafs this summer, has 1 goal and 11 PIM in eight games this season.

The Leafs acquired Caputi from Pittsburgh at the trading deadline, and he had 1 goal and 5 assists with Toronto in 19 games after the deal. However, he was sent to the Marlies after training camp, and has 1 goal, 1 assist and a team-high 24 shots on goal in six AHL games this season.
