Lazo, Holland and Macek score as Americans top Warriors 3-1 in WHL action @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Johnny Lazo had a goal and an assist, and Drew Owsley finished with 34 saves to lead the Tri-City Americans to a 3-1 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League play Tuesday night.

Patrick Holland and Brooks Macek also scored for the Americans (41-15-3), who moved within one point of Brandon in the race for top spot in the WHL.

Brendan Rowinski had the lone goal for Moose Jaw (28-23-8), which has lost four straight to Tri-City. Jeff Bosch finished with 27 saves.

The Warriors finished their swing through the U.S. Division with a 2-3 record.
