Latta scores winner, St. Jacques stops 39 as Storm beat Oshawa 2-1 @NHLdotcom

GUELPH, Ont. - Michael Latta snapped a 1-1 tie late in the second period and goaltender Cody St. Jacques did the rest as Guelph Storm beat the Oshawa Generals 2-1 on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

St. Jacques made 39 saves for the Storm (7-3-1), while Mathew Sisca opened the scoring on the power play.

Christian Thomas had the lone reply for Oshawa (7-4-2), which saw its five-game winning streak come to an end.

Generals netminder Michael Zador stopped 30 shots.
