Late burst helps Tri-City take 3-0 series lead over Kamloops after 4-3 win @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The Tri-City Americans scored three times in the third period to beat the Kamloops Blazers 4-3 in a WHL playoff game Tuesday.

The Americans lead the best-of-seven series 3-0. Game 4 goes Wednesday. Eric Mestery, Drew Hoff, Jason Reese and Adam Hughesman scored for the Americans.

Scott Wasden, with two, and Tyler Shattock replied for Kamloops.

Chet Pickard made 33 stops in Tri-City's goal.

Justin Leclerc made 30 for Kamloops.
