Larson scores two goals, leads Petes to 4-2 victory over Erie Otters @NHLdotcom

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. - Justin Larson scored the game-winner and added an assist as the Peterborough Petes beat the Erie Otters 4-2 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

Larson broke a 2-2 tie 7:41 into the third period and rookie Ryan Spooner added his team leading fifth goal for insurance. Yves Bastien and Adam Sedlak also scored for the Petes (3-6-0-0). Nick Palmieri and Brandon Biggers replied for the Otters (2-4-1-0), who twice led the game.

Jason Missiaen picked up the win in goal with a 36-save effort, while Shane Owen took the loss as Erie outshot the Petes 37-30.
