Langenbrunner led the League in goals with six, including three game winners and added one assist as New Jersey recorded three victories, giving them a record of 32-15-3, 67 points and first place in the Atlantic Division. He began the week by recording two goals in a 4-1 victory over the Ottawa Senators
, Jan. 27. On Jan. 29, he notched two goals including the overtime winner and one assist in a 4-3 win over the Boston Bruins
