Lander's hat trick powers Oilers past Coyotes @NHLdotcom

Anton Lander had a natural hat trick in the Edmonton Oilers' 4-0 preseason win against the Arizona Coyotes at Rexall Place on Tuesday.

Anders Nilsson made 11 saves and Ben Scrivens made nine to combine for the shutout.

Lander scored his third goal, second on the power play, at 2:11 of the third period to give the Oilers a 3-0 lead. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins scored the final goal at 15:13.

Oilers rookie center Connor McDavid had an assist and four shots on goal in 18:02 of ice time. Anton Slepyshev and Nikita Nikitin each had two assists for Edmonton, which has won all six of its preseason games.

Anders Lindback made 28 saves for the Coyotes (0-4-1).
