Lagace and D'Orso earn QMJHL player of the week honours @NHL

BOUCHERVILLE, Que. - Chicoutimi Sagueneens forward Jacob Lagace and Val-d'Or Foreurs goaltender Raffaele D'Orso were named the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League offensive and defensive players of the week Monday.

Lagace, a Buffalo Sabres draft pick, scored five goals and added three assists to go along with he posted a plus-six rating in three Chicoutimi wins.

In three Foreurs wins, D'Orso stopped 133 shots to finish the week with a 1.33 goals-against-average and .971 save percentage.

D'Orso, who turned 20 on Monday, posted a 48-save shutout in a 3-0 victory over the Montreal Juniors on Jan. 27.
