Lafontaine, Leclair ride float in Thanksgiving parade @NHLdotcom

NEW YORK -- A pair of enshrines at the United States Hockey Hall of Fame were on board the NHL's float Thursday in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2014.

Pat LaFontaine, who entered the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in 2003, and John LeClair, who joined him six years later, rode along with local kids dressed in New York Rangers and Philadelphia Flyers gear on the Frozen Fall Fun float.

Joining the kids, who took turns shooting pucks on Tom Turkey, were Joel and Benji Madden, formerly of the band Good Charlotte and now The Madden Brothers. They performed their song "Dear Jane" during the parade.

"Way too much fun this morning at the big parade," @Maddenbrothers tweeted. "Happy Thanksgiving to all!"

The NHL's Thanksgiving celebration continues Friday with the Discover NHL Thanksgiving Showdown when the Rangers face the Flyers at Wells Fargo Center at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.
