WPG@MTL, Gm3: Montreal gives Lafleur, alumni ovation

Hockey royalty was in the house at Bell Centre on Sunday.

Montreal Canadiens icons Guy Lafleur, Rejean Houle and Yvan Cournoyer, were celebrated by the estimated 2,500 fans during the first period of Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Second Round between Montreal and the Winnipeg Jets.
Lafleur and Houle each won five Stanley Cup championships in Montreal, and Cournoyer helped Montreal lift the trophy 10 times during his 16-season career.
Cournoyer and Lafleur were each inducted into the Hall of Fame and each have their numbers retired by Montreal.
The fans at Bell Centre went crazy for the icons,

after Artturi Lehkonen scored the Candiens' second goal.
