With the NHL trade deadline passed, General Manager Rob Blake was able to upgrade the Kings roster without saying goodbye to any of their prospects. It was a successful deadline as the Kings added Vladislav Gavrikov, Joonas Korpisalo and Zack MacEwan. In doing so, they parted ways with Jonathan Quick, Brendan Lemieux, Austin Wagner, Frederic Allard, a 2024 fifth-round pick, a conditional 2023 first round pick and a 2024 third-round pick. Able to hold on to the top prospects in the organization, the Kings future continues to look bright. Here is the latest update on the future of Kings hockey in your LA Kings Prospect Report presented by Enterprise.

Francesco Pinelli (Kitchener Rangers, OHL)

Pinelli continues to climb the ranks in the OHL's scoring categories as the Kitchener Rangers captain is up to ninth in points (79) over 52 games. Drafted 42nd overall in the 2021 NHL Draft, Pinelli has notched seven points (2-5=7) in his last five games. Pinelli and the Rangers currently hold the eighth and final spot in the Western Conference with just 9 games remaining on the regular season. The Rangers trail the seventh seeded Owen Sound Attack by just one point and hold an 11 point lead over the ninth seeded Soo Greyhounds. The Rangers next face off against the aforementioned Attack later today, on Friday, March 10th.

Tyler Madden (Ontario Reign, AHL)

With three points this past week, Madden has maintained an important offensive role with the Reign. Ranking fourth among prospects in scoring over the past week, Madden has been a consistent point producer this season. Standing fourth on the Reign in scoring (15-13=28), Madden is just three points shy of tying his career high in points. Madden has tallied five power play goals and two shorthanded goals this season.

Angus Booth (Shawinigan Cataractes, QMJHL)

The Kings fourth-round pick in the 2022 draft had a productive offensive showing with three points (0-3=3) over a two-game span this past week. The two-way defenseman picked up a trio of assists in a pair of victories of the Charlottetown Islanders and the Québec Ramparts. Booth has totaled 15 points (3-12=15) in 54 games this season.
