The LA Kings Ice Crew, the official promotional and interactive team of the Kings, will celebrate their 10-Year Anniversary this season.
The Ice Crew was first formed prior to the 2008-09 season and to date, they have represented the Kings at more than 3,200 different community appearances and helped raise more than $700,000 for the Kings Care Foundation.

Ice Crew members have also transitioned to a variety of full-time jobs with the Kings, AEG and the sports and entertainment community on the whole.
"Our team is unique in it is not a cheerleading or dance team. It's a team that brings together all types of personalities, talents, backgrounds and abilities. One thing about the team is their passion for the LA Kings and passion for our community in every sense of the word," said Kings President and Hockey Hall of Famer Luc Robitaille.
"We want to be a leader in terms of inclusivity, diversity and opportunity. We also want to continue to develop young careers."

The Ice Crew have the largest social media following in the NHL and are in the top 15 on all major platforms across all major sports leagues. The Ice Crew currently has 29 members (16 women and 13 men) - nine more members than the Ice Crew's inaugural squad (20 total members). In total, there have been 125 members of the Ice Crew.
In addition, 11 Ice Crew members have gone on to work for AEG on a full-time basis in a variety of departments. Eight people have gone on to other part-time roles within AEG and six have enjoyed full or part time roles with other sports teams.

"When we launched the LA Kings Ice Crew we had a vision to create unique fan ambassadors for our hockey club," said Kings COO Kelly Cheeseman.
"Over the years we feel the Ice Crew has featured a special group of young, diverse professionals who are passionate about hockey and accepted by our fans as part of our team. They are a tremendous extension of our brand and the Ice Crew continues to grow and evolve."

"One of my favorite moments as it relates to the Ice Crew came during the 2017 NHL All-Star Game at STAPLES Center," said Robitaille.
"The singer scheduled to perform the National Anthem could not take the ice and one of Ice Crew members - Courtney Daniels - stepped up with very little notice. She did an incredible job in front of a packed arena and national TV audience."

The 2018-19 season will be the first year since 2009 that the Ice Crew will not be featured in a Swimsuit Calendar (the Ice Crew will soon begin work on a new project with the primary goal continuing to be fundraising for the Kings Care Foundation).
The club's uniforms this season have also been refreshed, and this year's Ice Crew's look will feature new product from adidas and a more athleisure style.

"We are always looking for new ways to innovate and take the team to the next level," said Kings Senior Director, Game & Event Presentation, Brooklyn Boyars. "Over the next 10 years, I think the shift we are most likely to see is our team having an even stronger voice, a more modern look and feel, and contributing even more meaningfully in our community.
"We've already been on that path for some time, but that will be a focus for even more growth in the coming decade."
The Ice Crew is available for birthday parties, charity events, corporate events, schools and in-seat or in-suite visits during Kings games.
