The LA Kings today announced an extension of its groundbreaking digital livestream agreement with iHeartMedia Los Angeles. Beginning tonight, the Kings will kick off the 2020-21 season which will stream live on the
LA Kings Audio Network
and will be available for free on iHeartRadio.com and the iHeartRadio app.
The 2020-21 season marks the Kings' third season on the LA Kings Audio Network, a custom station available on iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia's all-in-one digital music, podcast, on demand and live streaming radio service, and its free app. All 56 LA Kings regular season games will broadcast on the LA Kings Audio Network including the club's season opener on January 14.

In addition, the Kings and KWKW-AM Tu Liga Radio 1330 will continue their broadcast relationship for the third consecutive year, airing select Kings games - including tonight - in Spanish as part of a new, contract extension.
Nick Nickson, Daryl Evans, Francisco X. Rivera and Nano Cortés will continue in their on-air roles broadcasting Kings games.
The 2020-21 NHL season marks Nickson's 40th campaign with the Kings. The veteran play-by-play announcer has more than 45 years of hockey broadcasting experience totaling more than 3,900 games, including more than 3,400 with the Kings. He is the second broadcaster in Kings history to work 40 seasons, joining fellow Hall of Famer Bob Miller. Nickson and Miller are the only pair of broadcasters in NHL history to work 40 seasons for the same team.
Known for his smooth, fast-paced and accurate delivery of every play, Nickson allows listeners to "see the game" as the action unfolds. As a tribute to his broadcasting excellence, he received the 2015 Foster Hewitt Award as selected by the NHL Professional Broadcasters' Association, and he was inducted into the Southern California Sports Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2009.
Nickson is joined in the radio broadcast booth by Evans, the former Kings forward and playoff hero. In his 22nd season as the Kings Radio Analyst, Evans has been behind the microphone for every Kings regular season and playoff game since the start of the 1999-00 season.
Evans and Nickson host Kings Talk after home games, and Jesse Cohen will host a special pre-game edition of "Kings Talk" before home games beginning one hour before faceoff.
Rivera serves as the Play-by-Play Announcer for Kings games in Spanish. He began his current role with the Kings in 2018 and called the Kings Spanish TV game on Dia de Los Muertos for FOX Sports West in 2019. During the 2019-20 season he began an additional role with the Kings as a consultant where he leads the team's Hispanic community outreach initiatives. Rivera is also part of the Kings Advisory Board.
Cortés too is in his third season with the Kings where he works closely with Rivera. He additionally serves as the engineer of each broadcast on press row at STAPLES Center.
The Kings and KWKW-AM Tu Liga Radio 1330 will broadcast approximately 10 games this season. Additional confirmed dates currently include January 16 vs. Minnesota; January 19 vs. Colorado; February 9 vs. San Jose; February 11 vs. San Jose; February 13 vs. Minnesota; and February 27 at Minnesota. Additional games will be added later.
The Kings open the season tonight at home against the Minnesota Wild at 7 p.m. The game will be broadcast on FOX Sports West, the FOX Sports App, the LA Kings Audio Network on iHeartRadio and in Spanish on KWKW 1330 AM TU LIGA.
