Kwiet has four points, Unice stops 27 as Windsor routs the Greyhounds 7-1 @NHLdotcom

SAULT STE. MARIE, Ont. - Rob Kwiet had four points - one goal, three assists - as the Windsor Spitfires hammered the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 7-1 on Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

New arrivals Ben Shutron and Scott Timmins had a goal and an assist, respectively, for the Spitfires (35-5-0-1), who have won six straight and nine of their last 10.

Josh Unice, another trade-deadline addition, played 54 minutes and 39 seconds of shutout hockey before allowing a power-play goal in his first start for Windsor. The former Kitchener Rangers goalie finished with 27 saves.

Greg Nemisz and Andrei Loktionov both had a goal and two assists, Ryan Ellis had a goal and an assist, while Justin Shugg and Dale Mitchell also scored for the Spitfires. Brock Beukeboom had the lone marker for Sault Ste. Marie (15-24-2-1).

Greyhounds netminder Cody St. Jacques stopped 27 shots.
