Kuznetsov's best offensive performance came on Friday, when he had three goals and two assists in Washington's 7-4 win over Edmonton.
He also had three assists in Washington's 6-2 win over Calgary and assisted on Alex Ovechkin's winning goal in the Capitals' 3-2 victory over Vancouver.
Montreal Canadiens defenceman Andrei Markov is the second star with a goal and five assists in three games.
Los Angeles goaltender Jonathan Quick takes third-star honours after posting a 2-0-0 record with a 1.00 goals-against average, .971 save percentage and one shutout over the week.
