Kurtis Mucha makes 41 saves as Portland beats Kamloops 7-5 @NHL

PORTLAND, Ore. - Kurtis Mucha made 41 saves as the Portland Winter Hawks beat the Kamloops Blazers 7-5 in WHL action Sunday.

Luke Walker and Killian Hutt had two goals each as the lowly Winter Hawks improved to 5-14-0-0. Colin Reddin, Matt Schmermund, and Brock Cornish also scored for Portland.

Kamloops forwards Kenton Dulle and Alex Rodgers each scored twice and Brendan Ranford also notched a goal as the Blazers dropped to 10-10-0-3.

Blazers goalie Justin Leclerc stopped 22 shots for the loss.
