Kuhn scores twice to lead the Chiefs over the Winterhawks 5-2 @NHLdotcom

SPOKANE, Wash. - Steven Kuhn scored two goals to lead the Spokane Chiefs over the visiting Portland Winterhawks 5-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Dominik Uher and Brenden Kichton had a goal and two assists each for the Chiefs (24-14-6) while Dylan Walchuk added a single goal.

Ty Rattie scored both goals for the Winterhawks (30-13-3), who had their four-game winning streak stopped.

Eric Williams made 24 saves for the win as Mac Carruth stopped 28 shots in defeat.

Spokane failed to score on five opportunities with the man advantage while Portland went 2 for 3.
