Kuemper's 24-save performance lifts Red Deer past Prince Albert 2-1 @NHLdotcom

PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. - Darcy Kuemper turned aside 22 shots to lead the Red Deer Rebels to a 2-1 victory over the Prince Albert Raiders on Friday night in the Western Hockey League.

Brennen Wray scored the game winner early in the third period for the Rebels (12-18-0-5), who won for the fourth time in six games. Landon Ferraro added a first-period goal, his 20th of the season.

Nathan Deck's power-play goal 6:34 into the third period spoiled Kuemper's shutout bid.

Garrett Zemlak made 34 saves for the Raiders (14-21-1-0), who lost for the 10th time in 11 games.
