Kris Newbury leads scoring parade as Marlies beat Americans 5-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Kris Newbury tallied a goal and two assists as the Toronto Marlies beat the Rochester Americans 5-2 in AHL action Friday.

Jeremy Williams, Boyd Devereaux, Alex Foster and Jaime Sifers also scored for the Marlies, who improved to 4-3-0-1.

Drew Larman and Michal Repik scored for the Americans (1-8-0-0).

Toronto goalie Adam Munro made 18 saves for the win while at the other end Tyler Plante stopped 22 shots.
