Kozun scores, adds assist to lead Hitmen to 4-1 win over Wheat Kings @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - Brandon Kozun scored and added an assist to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-1 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings in Western Hockey League action Sunday night.

Kozun's game-opening goal at 7:47 of the first period prompted the 18,105 fans at the Pengrowth Saddledome to littler the ice with 22,722 stuffed toys as part of the Hitmen's 14th annual Petro-Canada Teddy Bear Toss.

Brendan Rowinski, Brett Sonne and Ian Schultz also scored for the Hitmen (24-4-1-0), who skated to their 11th straight victory. Carson McMillan and Keith Seabrook each chipped in with a pair of assists.

Brayden Schenn scored the lone goal for the Wheat Kings (15-11-1-1), while Brandon netminder Andrew Hayes made 22 saves in a losing cause.

Calgary goalie Martin Jones stopped 25 of 26 shots fired his way to improve his record to 16-2-1.
