Kory Nagy scores 1:55 into OT to lift Oshawa over Niagara 3-2

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. - Kory Nagy scored 1:55 into overtime to lift the Oshawa Generals to a 3-2 win over the Niagara IceDogs in OHL action Thursday.

Niagara's Matt Piva sent the game into overtime with his second goal of the season.

Thomas Middup scored for the IceDogs in the second after John Tavares and Taylor Carnevale gave the visitors a 2-0 lead with two first-period power-play goals.

The IceDogs outshot the Generals 37-32 before 3,016 fans.
