Kootenay Ice explode for six goals in 2nd period to beat Kamloops Blazers 7-3 @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - The Kootenay Ice scored six second-period goals on eight shots and went on to a 7-3 beat the Kamloops Blazers in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night.

Drew Czerwonka, Jesse Ismond, Max Reinhart, Sam Reinhart, Brock Montgomery, Joe Antilla and Dylen McKinlay scored for the Ice (17-5-3).

Tim Bozon, Bronson Maschmeyer and Brendan Ranford replied for the Blazers (14-7-1).

Kootenay goaltender Nathan Lieuwen turned aside 25 shots, while the Kamloops duo of Cole Cheveldave and Cam Lanigan combined to stop 15 shots.
