Kootenay Ice beat out Moose Jaw Warriors 2-1. @NHLdotcom

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Hayden Rintoul scored halfway through the second period to push the Kootenay Ice to a 2-1 victory over host Moose Jaw Warriors in Western Hockey League action Wednesday night.

Kootenay (34-16-4) opened the scoring with a goal from Dustin Sylvester in the first period.

Thomas Frazee replied for Moose Jaw (26-19-7).

Kootenay goalie Todd Mathews made 37 saves. Jeff Bosch stopped 30 shots for Moose Jaw.
