Komisarek out at least 8 weeks @NHLdotcom

TORONTO (AP) - Maple Leafs defenseman Mike Komisarek will be out at least eight weeks because he needs surgery for a broken arm.

Komisarek suffered the injury in Nashville on Thursday.

The Leafs also recalled forward Joe Colborne from the AHL prior to Saturday's game against the Washington Capitals.

The 21-year-old center will be inserted into a lineup that is missing six regulars.

Colborne had 10 goals and 19 points in 13 games with the AHL's Marlies this season.

Also out for the Leafs are No. 1 goalie James Reimer (concussion-like symptoms) and forwards Clarke MacArthur (upper body), Mikhail Grabovski (lower body), Colby Armstrong (ankle sprain) and Matthew Lombardi (upper body).
