Kolomatis scores OT winner as Owen Sound edges the Saginaw Spirit 4-3 @NHLdotcom

SAGINAW, Mich. - The Owen Sound Attack salvaged a win after blowing a two goal lead as David Kolomatis scored on the power play 1:45 into overtime to edge the Saginaw Spirit 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Saturday night.

The Attack led 3-1 but the Spirit fought back with two third-period goals to send the game to overtime.

Marc Franchini and Marcus Carroll had a goal and an assist each and Mike Lomas chipped in with three assists for Owen Sound (24-23-7-7). Milan Doczy also scored for the Attack.

Jordan Szwarz and Joe Pleckaitis scored a goal and an assist and Chris Chappell scored the tying goal for the Spirit (32-22-3-4).

Scott Stajcer stopped 32 shots in the win and Anthony Peters made 25 saves for Saginaw.
