Knackstedt's two goals keeps Warriors win-streak alive, beating Tigers 5-2 @NHLdotcom

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Jordan Knackstedt scored twice in the second period to help the Moose Jaw Warriors keep their win streak alive, downing the Medicine Hat Tigers with a 5-2 win in WHL action Friday night.

With both teams on a five-game win streaks heading into the game, the Warriors (6-3-2) scored four goals in the third period in getting the win over Medicine Hat (8-3-1).

Moose Jaw got two goals from Knackstedt, and one goal each from Ryan Stanton, Neal Prokop and Jason Bast. Knackstedt and Chad Suer each chipped in two assists in the winning effort.

Medicine Hat's Yashar Farmanara and Bretton Cameron replied for the Tigers.

Joey Perricone made 23 saves in the win, while Tomas Vosvrda stopped 29 in the loss.
