Knackstedt's 12th goal leads Warriors to 3-1 win over Blades @NHLdotcom

MOOSE JAW, Sask. - Jordan Knackstedt's 12th goal of the year was the difference as the Moose Jaw Warriors beat the Saskatoon Blades 3-1 Wednesday night in Western Hockey League action.

Riley Holzapfel opened the scoring with a power-play goal for the Warriors and Joel Broda added an insurance marker with 2.7 seconds left in the second period to help Moose Jaw (10-9-4-1) break a seven-game losing streak.

Walker Wintoneak replied for the Blades (8-16-1-0) in the first period.

Joey Perricone made 24 saves for the Warriors, while Braden Holtby stopped 27 shots for the Blades.
