Klingberg, Jets agree to terms on one-year contract @NHLdotcom

Left wing Carl Klingberg and the Winnipeg Jets agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract worth $650,000, the team announced Wednesday.

Klingberg, 23, played three games for the Jets last season and scored his first NHL goal on April 11 against the Calgary Flames. He played 65 games with the St. John's IceCaps in the American Hockey League and had 22 goals and 21 assists. In 21 Calder Cup Playoff games, he had three goals and five assists.

Klingberg was selected by the Atlanta Thrashers in the second round (No. 34) of the 2009 NHL Draft.
