Kingston feasts on Tavares-less Generals 5-0 to snap six-game losing skid @NHLdotcom

KINGSTON, Ont. - The Oshawa Generals were defeated 5-0 by the Kingston Frontenacs, who snapped a six-game losing streak on Friday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Oshawa, sixth in the Eastern Conference, still has a 15-point cushion over the last-place Frontenacs. The Frontenacs will play the Generals again on Sunday in Oshawa after a game Saturday in Belleville against the Bulls.

Frontenacs defenceman Zack Fenwick, also back after serving a 15-game suspension, scored once. Colt Kennedy, inserted on to a line with Moon and George Lovatsis, scored and added two assists.

The Frontenacs came out of the first period with a 1-0 lead, provided by Kennedy's power-play goal.
