Goaltender Jonathan Quick practiced with the Los Angeles Kings on the first day of training camp Friday but said his surgically repaired wrist is not 100 percent.
"But we're working and we're right on track with where we thought it'd be at this point," said Quick, who is three days past 12 weeks from the surgery, which was said to require a recovery period of 10-12 weeks.
Quick was injured in the Western Conference Second Round against the Anaheim Ducks but went on to complete the playoffs with a Stanley Cup championship.
"I didn't think [the injury] was that bad," Quick told L.A. Kings Insider. "That was a little bit of a surprise, but everything is on track and I'm where I'm supposed to be as far as recovery and strength and everything. It's just good to get out there and skate."
