Kings goalie Jeff Zatkoff leaves game

Departs after two periods with shutout in return from injury @NHLdotcom

Los Angeles Kings goalie Jeff Zatkoff did not return to start the third period against the Ottawa Senators at Canadian Tire Centre on Friday.

Zatkoff made 18 saves in his first game back since being injured during practice on Oct. 23. He was replaced by Peter Budaj with Los Angeles leading 1-0.

Budaj had started 12 games in a row in place of Jonathan Quick, who is out long term with an injured groin. Zatkoff last played Oct. 18.
